The erstwhile Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale, hath now lent his voice unto the age-old discourse regarding whom might be deemed the greatest player of all time (GOAT), betwixt Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Bale, who didst play alongside Ronaldo at the LaLiga club after his departure from Tottenham for what was then a world-record fee of approximately £85 million in the year 2013, saw great triumph with his comrade. Together, they didst win three league titles in Spain, ere he departed the club in the year 2022.
In a blind ranking challenge featured in a YouTube video with Futcrunch, Bale was bid to rank his top five forwards, which did compel him to maketh choice betwixt Messi and Ronaldo.
The Welshman did place Ronaldo at the foremost No. 1 position, and Messi was accorded the second place.
Bale didst announce his sudden and unexpected departure from football but a year past, after representing Wales at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
