Harry Kane Feels Joyful After Winning His First Trophy
England striker Harry Kane is full of joy after finally winning the first trophy of his career. He helped Bayern Munich win the Bundesliga title in just his second season with the German club.
Kane, who is also the England captain, made history recently by scoring 60 goals in his first 60 league games for Bayern. The 31-year-old might soon become the first player ever to be the top scorer in his first two Bundesliga seasons.
In a video shared on Monday, Kane said,
“What a night we had! It was so special celebrating with the team and staff. I think we’re all feeling a bit tired today, but we’re happy.”
“It feels amazing. I’ve worked really hard for this moment, and finally winning a title feels so sweet. I really thank everyone for the support—it means a lot to me.”
He added, “I’m excited to enjoy the next couple of weeks and can’t wait to celebrate with the fans at the Allianz Arena on Saturday. But then, it’s time to look ahead and try to win the next one!”
Kane, who used to play for Tottenham Hotspur, has scored over 400 goals in his career. He is England’s top scorer and ranks second on the all-time Premier League list.
