Manchester United Target Champions League Push in Trip to Wolves
Manchester United will look to strengthen their bid for a Champions League place when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday, with Ruben Amorim’s side aiming to climb beyond sixth in the Premier League for the first time this season.
United have not moved higher than sixth at any stage of the campaign. They briefly returned to the top six after matchday nine but have since struggled for consistency.
Amorim’s side could rise to 25 points with a win at Molineux, where they have yet to beat Wolves this season. United’s record of six wins, four draws and four defeats, with 22 goals scored and 21 conceded, has left them battling to stay in contention for European qualification.
A return to the Champions League remains uncertain, increasing the pressure ahead of Monday’s fixture. A second victory in three matches would provide a timely boost as United look to rebuild momentum.
