The 2026 World Cup has its final four, with France, Spain, England and defending champions Argentina advancing to a heavyweight semi-final line-up.
After the quarter-finals settled the remaining places, France will face Spain at Dallas Stadium on July 14 before England meet Argentina at Atlanta Stadium a day later. Both semi-finals kick off at 3pm ET.
The line-up brings together the top four teams in the FIFA rankings, the first time in World Cup history that the four highest-ranked nations have all reached the semi-finals at the same tournament.
England are back in the last four for the first time since 2018 as they continue their pursuit of a first men’s World Cup title since 1966.
Spain, meanwhile, have reached their first World Cup semi-final since 2010, when they went on to lift the trophy in South Africa.
Argentina’s title defence remains alive, with Lionel Messi and the reigning champions now two victories away from securing back-to-back World Cups.
France complete a formidable semi-final field and will first have to overcome Spain in Dallas for a place in the final.
Four of international football’s biggest forces remain. France against Spain. England against Argentina.
The road to the 2026 World Cup trophy is down to its final four.
