A big meeting awaits in the Champions League quarter
Chelsea – Real Madrid will be the big summit in the quarter-finals of the Champions League in football.
Eight teams remain in Europe’s largest men’s football tournament. When the draw for the first quarter-final was made, the reigning champions Chelsea were drawn first, followed by most champions Real Madrid.
The other quarter-finals are played as follows: Manchester City – Atletico Madrid, Villarreal – Bayern Munich, Benfica – Liverpool.
The semi-final opponents were also selected in the draw. The winner of the meeting between Chelsea and Real Madrid will face the winner of Manchester City – Atletico Madrid. The winners of the other two quarter-finals play the second semi-final.
The quarter finals will be played April 5-6, with the return meetings a week later.
The final will be played on May 28 in Paris.
