Market: English defender Jerome Opoku reinforces Arouca until 2025
English defender Jerome Opoku has signed for Arouca for the next three years, the Portuguese football league club announced today, thus guaranteeing the third reinforcement for the 2022/23 season.

At 23 years old, the defender, who impresses with his physical appearance (1.93 meters), did all his training at Marco Silva’s Fulham, being loaned consecutively to Accrington Stanley, Plymouth Argyle and, last season, to the Danes of Vejle BK , the first international experience.
Opoku thus joins Armando Evangelista’s options, after the arrival of Uruguayan goalkeeper Ignacio de Arruabarrena, Guinean midfielder Morlaye Sylla and Spanish striker Rafa Mújica, with the departures of Pité (Mafra) and Leandro Silva (Hapoel Haifa, Israel).
